Welcome. I’m Amy Bennie a BACP registered, integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, with a focus on Transactional Analysis, qualified to work with adults, children, and adolescents.

You might wonder what is the difference between a counsellor and a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. The terms are often used interchangeably, but we tend to train for longer (3years) and as a result, as well as short-term therapy, we often work with more complex clients or those who want to have longer-term therapy. We also have to go through our own extensive process of attending therapy to develop our own self-awareness.

Alongside my work as a Psychotherapist, I am the Chairperson of Daisy Network Charity, for women with Premature Ovarian Insufficiency, providing medical and psychological support through the diagnosis.

I truly believe we all have the ability to be the best versions of ourselves.
